Food & Traders

Here are some of our especially invited food and other traders at this year’s Beggars Fair. Some are old favourites, others are new. They will be placed at the Church Place, Cornmarket and Memorial Park.

All of our Venues will be providing food and/or refreshments throughout the day, but here are some additional catering options to try out…

Memorial Park

Come to The Park find to Baked potatoes from The Absolute Spud Shack, Donuts and New Forest Ice Cream from Warren, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust , Whitelegg’s Fun Fair, The Park Cafe and Vinachi Native with all your summer time festival needs with everything from clothing and hats, to necklaces and flowers for your hair.

Church Place

Leading to the Abbey you will find Romsey Country Market, Carlo’s Ice Creams, Mexicali, Sarum Event Catering with their German Bratwurst van and Peter Smith, a local author with his Dragonhill books

The Hundred and Cornmarket

Here you will find Romsey Scouts with their Big Bang Burger & Hotdog stall, La Cala Spanish food prepared by local Masterchef finalist, Sweetway to Heaven fudge and traditional confectionery, Cher’s Funky Faces with hair braiding and face painting, Pippa with her glitter makeup for adults and children and Yum Yums with their retro sweets and cables.
