Welcome to Romsey's 33rd Free Music & Dance Festival
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, performed, or came to enjoy the music and dance performances at the 32nd Beggars Fair on 11th July 2026! We think it was our best yet, with over 120 acts across more than 25 venues, along with countless traders, on a scorching hot day. We are now looking forward to the 33rd Beggars Fair on 10th July 2027 and hope to see you there for another year of family-friendly music, dance and live performances – as always, for free!
Throughout the streets, and in our official venues all around the town, the best of local performers bring you an eclectic mix of folk, jazz, blues, rock, classical and other musical genres. This is interleaved with numerous dance displays, including Morris dance teams, contemporary dance, and international folk dance.
From the big bands and crowds at the main stages, to music and family fun in the Memorial Park, to acoustic music in Romsey’s churches, there is something for everyone. There are old favourites from past years and many new acts to enjoy for the first time.
We also have a variety of traders providing food, crafts, fashion, toys, fairground attractions and much more!
