Welcome to Romsey's 32nd Free Music & Dance Festival
Music and dance return once again to Romsey when the 32nd Beggars Fair takes over the town on 11th July 2026. From 11am to 5pm you can expect to see, hear and enjoy 140 acts spread over more than 25 venues, as well as roaming street performers – all for FREE at Romsey’s annual family-friendly music festival!
Throughout the streets, and in our official venues all around the town, the best of local performers bring you an eclectic mix of folk, jazz, blues, rock, classical and other musical genres. This is interleaved with numerous dance displays, including Morris dance teams, contemporary dance, and international folk dance.
From the big bands and crowds at the Cornmarket Main Stage, to music and family fun in the Memorial Park, to acoustic music in Romsey’s churches, there is something for everyone. There are old favourites from past years and many new acts to enjoy for the first time.
We also have a variety of traders providing food, crafts, fashion, toys, fairground attractions and much more!
