The Madding Crowd

Sing the rousing music that was used in village churches in the 18th Century, with four-part harmonies accompanied by a band. The music suits bowed strings, woodwind, English concertina and some brass instruments (line playing not chord playing).

The Madding Crowd researches and performs the church and secular music of the English Village Bands and choirs in the period 1660 to 1861.
